So for electronic music Ableton is by far the best DAW to use, Logic, FL are good but they are better for producing R&B / Pop Music, Ableton is the best for electronic, especially house music, mainly because it has a lot of in-house plugins that as you get more experienced you'll find extremely useful, where as the others don't have these in-house plugs-ins.

How is this different from YouTube tutorials or cheaper courses?
I'd be very careful with YouTube tutorials, half of it is nonsense / incorrect information just to get views on YouTube, it's also very unstructured you're be watching random videos, but no step-by-step lessons on how to create and finish a banger from scratch, you also don't get the 24/7 support from a mentor like Elysia who has made it in this industry. Do you teach only house music or other genres too?
We teach anything under the electronic dance music umbrella; House, Tech House, Deep House, Progressive House, Electro House, Acid House, Afro House, Funky / Disco House, Minimal House, Techno, Trance, Drum and Bass (D&B), Dubstep. Also Vivifier Records, the label you will sign with also has different arms off of Vivifier so if you wish to release a D&B track for example, they have an arm for that, so we can do that. However, Elysia is more well known for any sub-genre under House.

What’s the structure of the course? How long does it take?
On average the course takes 6 months to reach track collaboration and record deal stage, but you do get life-time access to the lessons so you go at your own pace and if it takes you longer that's no a problem, Elysia isn't going anywhere, and at the same time, people who have been massively committed and smashed through have got to track collab and record deal stage as quick as 3 months in.
How do you guarantee label signings?
Elysia was quite a big back in the day, and when you've had a certain amount of success, labels will 100% sign you just to have that name on the label, Elysia is very close with the owner of Vivifier, and she also runs their radio show which Elysia will also get you on as a special guest, so anyway they have an agreement that any track Elysia wish to release, Vivifier will sign, as long as it has her name on, because they know Elysia would never put out rubbish tracks as that would damage her brand, so that's why it has to be the collaboration track and that's how she guarantees it.
What results have other students got?
A recent release Elysia put out with her clients reached number 1 in the tech house Beatport charts, the release before that was top 3, before that was top 5, in face she's never had a release with her clients that hasn't hit the top100 Beatport charts.

What's Elysia's background what sort of success has she had, why does she now mentor?
She has over 12 years experience in the industry, she hit her peak in the indsutry just before lockdown when she toured Europe, making a name for herself in Malta, however, she landed back home for her headline residency at XOYO, and she really burned herself out, to the point where she is now on steroids for life, then lockdown hit and well she had to slow down a bit and that's when she started mentoring others, she fell in love with mentoring and never looked back really, she's still played some big festivals round Europe like Abode on the Snow, WeARE FSTVL, Elrow Town and what not, but no where near as many as she use to, but that's how she likes it, she always says she gets a buzz out of mentoring her clients to over take her in the industry and that's her main day-to-day goal now, I think she personally prefers to the slower quieter life-style.
How many hours a week do I need to commit?
2-3 hours would be great, more would be amazing, but again you have life-time access so even if you can only do 30 minutes that doesn't matter, at least you're starting, that is the main thing, we have so many busy people, some who are touring already and have very little time, but what I say to those clients is just keep the bare minimum consistent even if it's 30 mins a week, then every week you're getting closer to your goals, whereas some people not as serious will just use the excuse 'oh in 6 months time when the kids have gone back to school' this is an excuse, we will never have more time, time is an illusion, we will never have more of it, as long as you start now an do a little bit each week you're on track!
What if I have a full-time job?
As above, carve out at least 30 minutes a week to be going in the right direction towards your goals.
Do I need expensive equipment to start?
Nope, you can get started with just your laptop and a pair of headphones, even Ableton has a free trial so you don't even need to pay for that right away.
What speakers, headphones, or software do you recommend?
Everything is in the programme, there's multiple lessons on the right equipment you need, the best, the worst, cost efficient options, the bare minimum, everything is in the lessons you just need to get started and everything else will follow.
I produce on Logic (or any other DAW they mention), does this need to be in Ableton?
Great question, so Elysia teaches all the DAWs, she teaches Logic, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Reason, Cubase you name it she knows it, however, she does have preferences for different genres, so you wish to produce house right? (or whatever genre they mention under the electronic dance music umbrella) So for that genre Ableton would be the best DAW to use. Have you ever thought about switching over? I mean you can stick to your DAW if that's what you choose, but giving you some advice I would 100% learn Ableton sooner rather than later.
When can I start?
It all depends when the spots are available, due the the track collaborations and record deal Elysia can only take on a certain amount at a time, but I know she has just finished a number of track collabs and whenever she finishes a track
Is it online or in person?
It's online, it's extremely hard to learn something in-depth as music production in person, what you'll find is attend an in-person lesson, watch a someone's screen for an hour, trying to take in so much information, and then the time you get home you've forgotten all of it and no recordings to revisit, music production is a lot of information an you need a diary of lessons to revisit watch 2 or 3 to take it in when you've forgotten parts. It's almost impossible to learn music production from 1 hour weekly in-person lessons, you need more you need a vault of over 300 lessons you can re-watch for life, like what we provide.
How long do I have access to the materials?
Life-time access, the reason being is because we take you to the top, this programme is the last music production mentorship you'll ever have to invest in because we share tips and tricks only the top dogs in the industry know about, so some of these lessons are really advanced and you may want to come back and revisit these in 2-3 years time.
What happens after I finish the course?
Once we've got you signed, we've got your foot in the door with labels, now we've made it a lot easier to go and get your second track signed, so you need to keep it up, keep releasing every 6-8 weeks to keep your name out there to ensure people are booking you because of your bangers!
